Actually, the photo on the right is somewhat more attractive. His body language and facial expression are more secure.

The photo on the left is trying too hard.

His expression in the left-hand picture is off-putting to me. Idk, idk... I know it's just a picture (and a contrived one at that) but if we're just going by the pictures themselves, then... I can honestly say the picture on the right is more attractive to me.
