i am happy to agree that it works both ways--but obviously not in the same way.
i know too many men who are NOT ok with their gf/wife earning more than them. i think thats an absurd view, but I know (there are) men who hold it.

do you think that view (ie. i am not OK with my partner earning more than me) is more common among men or women?

you are right--being right does matter to me. facts matter. being wrong is categorically bad. bad data is bad.

this is not about women being shallow at all. if anything, its against the idea of looks mattering--im saying bank account matters more than body.

this is not 'women are gold-diggers'
i am NOT making that claim

but that doesnt mean i will ignore the data that exists....men and women both got their problems.

why anyone would not be OK with their partner earning more than them is beyond me. some men got weird power issues.
