He apparently got caught for smoking pot so needed something to beat a drug test. The whistle blower who revealed the missing evidence has since been unjustly canned and it could not be admitted during the trial.

The point is the media has beaten the tea & skittles narrative to a pulp. Their symbolism of his innocence not only is another lie(tea?) to protect his shitty character, it could explain his behavior which got him killed.

His character is irrelevant in this case aside from whether he was known to be capable of killing someone with his bare hands. You have a point only in that the media handled the portrayal of this case poorly. It's just par for course since they tend to care more about sensationalism for ratings than journalism. If you're going to give Zimmerman the benefit of the doubt, though, you should do the same with Martin. Besides, the fact remains that Martin was unarmed, and that's the crux of the controversy. Some people just don't think it's ever acceptable to shoot and kill someone who is unarmed, even if they are kicking your ass.

I'm not killing anything. What I'm saying is that it is doing more harm than good to continue to portray a situation that simply did not exist. For example, everything I have seen suggests that GZ is no racist. He started a business with a black guy. He tutored minority children with his wife. He didn't even seem sure of Trayvon's race in the initial 911 call. The only proven racist in this case was Trayvon. Yet reading social media and watching MSNBC, you would think that this means that all white(or white-hispanic) guys are out to kill black kids. Race-baiting at its finest.
