I think he's only declared bankruptcy 4 times; on the other hand, he's really good at duping people into investing in his schemes, so that could be a good trait to have if your country relies on convincing foreigners to buy its debt.

I think he'd be an unmitigated disaster.

If there was anything worthwhile to him I'd actually agree and say this was a cheap shot. However, he hasn't really put forth anything decent related to policy and all he's been harping on was the birther nonsense. He's not a decent candidate, so he doesn't deserve better coverage or respect of any sort.

Are you familiar with Donald Trump? He uses his hair as a gimmick all the time. He jokes about his hair. He was even involved in a wrestling event where the loser shaves his head.

No but I know I've seen cartoons that depict Obama with big ears, and Bush looking generally like a chimp.

They're caricatures and part of the political cartoon atmosphere.
