People may laugh, but I recently heard a similar complaint from a homeschooling Christian mother. This was a real person saying that she didn't her children being taught "lies."

The "short bus" comment was not an attack, simply an observation subsequently supported by this most recent inquiry. Let me, once again, explain everything to you:

1. phillipalden wrote, "I want my child ignorant and intolerant of others, dammit!" You responded, "Like you?" thus inplying you think phillipalden is "ignorant and intolerant of others." Calling someone ignorant is a personal attack. You wrote, "What personal attack?" proving you don't know what you are doing.

2. You wrote to me: "So, another observation would be that you are a hypocrite." I wrote, "Like you?" Now, let's see if you are paying attention. Answer the following poorly constructed question: Like you referring to what?

1. I explained that his intolerance of other ideas was an observation, not a personal insult. The fact that you still call it an insult means that, heres another observation, your reading comprehension need some work.

2. You were referring to me calling him a hypocrite with your, "like you?" This shows that you understood my question. Now explain, with examples from this conversation, how I am a hypocrite?

When in fact you wrote in response to MY post: "You have shown that you do not tolerate other views of the world except your own. The wasn't an attack, but an observation." Since it was a response to MY post, you were saying that I was the intolerant one, not phillipalden as you claim. Therefore your statement "I explained that his intolerance of other ideas was an observation..." is untrue. Therefore, you are proven to be a liar!

Now, if you were actually trying to refer to phillipalden when you wrote "You have shown..." that fails, too. His only post in this conversation was a joke (and in "quotes" even) that demonstrated neither intollerance nor ignorance. Yet you shot back calling him intollerant and ignorant and you have no proof of those claims. Therefore you have been proven to be guilty of assault with an unprovoked personal insult. You lose.

As far as proving you are a hypocrite, I don't have to. You do it with every gramatically-challenged keystroke. (By the way, I love your attempt to limit me to "examples from THIS conversation." roflmao!) I've observed you many times in this community whining like spoiled child about people throwing personal insults your way, yet you willingness to hurl personal insults - as you've demonstrated here - is unbridled. That is the definition of hypocrite and it is you.
