I wouldn't be surprised that Iran and Syria were backing the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers.

...and I've never felt so comfortable before to say that we may be witnessing the beginning of world war 3!

While I agree with the thought it really isn't much of a threat in this day and age of long range warfare. Now if it were trench warfare I'd be the first one to start handing out Bayonets to the eager warmonger types....

What are you referring to? Israel is out of Lebanon almost completely, and Hizballah is not acting on behalf of the national country.

The recent statements by all of the other political factions in Lebanon condemning Hizballah's unilateral action, and subverting national sovereignty while going at it, do not agree with you.

But who knows. Nasrallah and his supporters tend to believe that they and they alone speak for Lebanon.

Israel is not in Lebanon, it is in the Beka'a farms, whose place is disputed between Lebanon and Syria. In any case it does not justify this military action of Hizballah.

I meant the Sheba'a farms, which is a region that is supposed to be Syrian, but even if it is Lebanese, it is less than 30 square kilometers large. Is it worth it?
