Just because Delay thinks he might loose doesn't mean he can just carpet bag out of the district to allow a better candidate to run.
It's against the Constitution to have a defacto residency clause. All that matters is where the candidate is on election day.
And Nick Lampson is doing great fundraising wise and has a positive message. He could beat anyone on the ballot.

/end of pitch :)

It took a few viewings to catch everything on this other icon, but I made the effort.

And now, I want a nuclear unicycle.

i don't understand why a residency clause runs afoul of the constitution..?

that doesn't make any sense. the constitution is silent on thousands of issues; just because it doesn't have a residency clause doesn't mean there can't be a law saying there is one.

send me a link to the judge's opinion and i'll take a look.

I miss Nick Lampson... he was one of the few Democrats whose space policy didn't suck.
