I don't know how much money is spent on gay sex-ed in Madison, WI. I do know we have top-notch high schools (by U.S. standards), and I can find plenty of kids like the one depicted in this cartoon.

I will continue to support any initiatives that stop magnifying the differences between people and start focusing on the similarities... but I also don't find it that unusual that a frowned-upon minority is getting a little face time to polish up people's understanding of their nature. After all, we do still live in a nation where homosexuals are commonly... TOO commonly... assumed to be pedophiles by nature. We live in a nation where laws are on the books criminalizing sexual interaction between consenting same-sex couples that is legal between heterosexual couples. It should not be surprising that a dab of liberal neosporin is being applied in our schools to keep this kind of bigotry from continuing.

BUT... that's not what this cartoon is about... it's about know-nothing school kids... and while I've met people who PRETEND to be know-nothings because it's cool... I have never met anyone like the kids presented in this cartoon.
