I never understood it. So WHAT if she called the stand-down order? It was just four people! ONLY four! Bush lost nine people overseas.

She didn't make a stand-down order. The Bengazi hearings have stated six (seven?) times now that there was no such order. They could find no record of it, they could find no witnesses, no recordings... nothing.
And they *DESPERATELY* wanted that so they could crucify her. But, there was no stand-down given.

...so, if a lie keeps getting circulated, what does that mean the agenda of the accuser is? To find that broom.

What were those boys doing over there anyway? Running weapons to jihadi has the effect of pissing off the locals.

As a non-American, I'm not sure what the entire Benghazi thing was about. I know an embassy (I think?) was hit and some people died but I'm not sure what the motivation/cause was or how Hillary became responsible? Genuinely would like to know...

Short version: A US embassy in Libya was attacked. Four people died.
Obama did nothing wrong, gave no suspicious orders, ignored no warnings, and bears no responsibility whatsoever.
Clinton did nothing wrong, gave no suspicious orders, ignored no warnings, and bears no responsibility whatsoever.

Illiterate assholes are attacking them because they're illiterate assholes and have both an irrational hatred of Obama and Clinton and a severe allergic reaction to facts.

That's it. That's the ENTIRE "scandal."

Hahaha, okay. I kinda got the impression from all the, "But Benghazi" rhetoric that the 'other' campaign is constantly bringing up but they can't seem to state outright the problem. I just didn't know if there were some shady facts lurking that I just missed.

There's tens of thousands of allegations of shady facts. Thing is, none of them is true. Not one. None of them is even slightly suspicious when investigated honestly - which they have been, exhaustively, at length.

That word "honestly" is important, though, because just like "Barack Obama was secretly born in Kenya!" and "Airplanes are seeding the atmosphere with mind control chemicals!" and "the Earth is only 6000 years old!" it's simply NOT POSSIBLE to be honest and still make the claim.

Don't forget -

America no longer has valid news reporting. It has infotainment and super-spun.

It's actually a little shocking to watch BBC news (for all it's flaws) and see actual reporting being done.

What this ends up meaning is that we have a large section of the population that either gets propaganda directly (from Fox News) or indirectly (from people who watch Fox), and another large section whose only exposure to news-like media is The Daily Show.

This means that people with an agenda can keep a verifiably wrong "scandal" going for years. Like Bengazi. Or the Obama Birther "scandal". Or any of the multitude of "scandals" that came out since Dubya left office. (Arguably, Whitewater was the test run on this...)

You missed "Swiftboating". Which was surely the most outrageous slander to come from a draft-dodger's entourage against a decorated veteran... and which was believed enough by credulous folk to influence a presidential election.

Fox News is both a cause and a symptom. It has created an inflationary spiral of influence which has shown self-sustaining growth. It has to peak sometime. Folk in the US can't all lack critical judgement.

"Folk in the US can't all lack critical judgement."

I've seen attacks on Clinton citing her lack of experience.
Trump, who is currently the subject of four federal investigation, regularly calls his opponent "crooked".
Trump is known as a great businessman... despite refusing to release his taxes, and having driven four of his businesses into bankruptcy.
Hell, Trump's entire platform, which is big on promises and thin on details.
There are *still* birther claims.
There are people who blame Obama for getting us into Iraq.
There are people who *still* cry Bengazi, even though she's had seven investigations on it.

...and this is just the stuff from this year. I'm not sure how much less critical judgement we can get.

That was one of the saddest supreme court cases I think ever. It Created a lot of our modern problems.

Faux News actually won the right to lie on air, because they are Entertainment.
