Brides of Christ (which all Christian nuns are) even when not in closed orders dress in a way that secular lasses who have not sworn the same oaths would never.
Maybe though if we treated all lasses in niqabis or burkas like nuns all of these problems would be more easily overlooked; and that would be a good thing.
I can see the beginnings of an Islamic rubber-wear craze in France.
There is no doubt some alternate reality where many Muslim folk in France are exposed to the joy of rubber fetishism and they change their focus a trifle. But maybe not in this reality.
Fetishism as a motivator of social change sounds such a hippy idea. I want it to be true, even if it's rubbish.
