Iow, she said those things. Whether or not you choose to believe she meant them is up to you. I happen to think she did.

I wouldn't believe anything either Trump or Hillary Clinton said. Trump is a serial liar, and Hillary is a consummate politician, which is essentially the same thing as a serial liar. The only real difference between the two appears to be that Hillary is better able to keep track of her lies and keep her story straight, and doesn't flip-flop much, whereas Trump flip-flops more than a catfish out of water.

Basically, Hillary the politician uses lies to go the way the political winds are blowing, changing her tune on subjects like gay marriage when popular opinion is clearly changing. Whereas Trump will paddle his leaky dinghy into any direction with no regard for danger or sense, even heading straight for a hurricane, and then pretend he meant to get his boat destroyed and wash up on some unknown shore.

The only other significant difference between the two is at least Hillary knows how to run things, how to get shit done. Trump is a serial failure, everything he touches turns to shit; he isn't qualified to run a lemonade stand, much less a country.
