The big argument here to not support air strikes in Syria is that we'll be blowing up ISIS and helping Assad. What's the narrative there? Are you fighting Assad or ISIS in Syria?

I think it's about keeping war between Assad and ISIS. If ISIS going to win, Turkey shoots Syria. If ISIS loose, USA push Turkey to strike Syria.
