It wasn't meant as an explanation of the comic itself (if it needs an explanation, I havn't done my job), but as an explanation of the inspiration for the comic, in case anyone was interested in the thought process that led me there. In fact, I was going to write a paragraph or two about how neither strict biblical creationism nor strict scientific evolutionary theory would account for many of the creatures and phenomena in Harry Potter, and how there must be either a unique creation myth or a modified theory of evolution for the wizarding world, but in the end, I decided all that was unnecessary.
