There is never a good excuse to stop being humane. Torture convinces people to lie to make it stop. Intel given through it is unreliable, and frankly brings us down to the same level as the people we are fighting.

And this isn't America bashing, I wish Australia would be sanctioned over our concentration camps immigration processing facilities.
