Maybe I'm a little behind the times, but last I heard, British cops didn't usualy even carry guns, and I've never heard of them having a reputation for violence. I think the cartoon would have worked better if you had used LA cops instead. (a department that has a bad rep for shooting first, whether deserved or not)

And what is it with you and Israel? I know they've got their problems but geez! Ever other cartoon from you is about how evil and murderous the Israelis are. Did a Jewish guy run over your puppy when you were little or something?

Yeah it's because the cops here killed a guy last week. They thought he was a suicide bomber but, you know, 60 people killed in four suicide bombings three weeks ago, four failed attempts last week, they're a bit jumpy. It's all a bit sketchy, the guy MIGHT have been an illegal immigrant, DEFINITELY lived in the same block of flats as a suspect, MIGHT have been wearing a padded jacket, MIGHT have run away from the police, MIGHT have jumped the ticket barrier, but we don't really know much at the moment.

I think he lost his girl to someone circumcised.

In fact I have two reasons for making these cartoons.
First, I was in West Bank in 1999 and I checked by myself (not watching Fox News) the suffering of Palestinian people living under occupation of IsraHell.

Second, is that you can check by the comments here that my cartoons are always striking a nerve of blind pro-Israel and pro-USA nationalists. I love all the hate rethoric and stuff from them. It's great to see them pissed off everytime I post a cartoon in support of Palestinians. And, you know, to make a reactionary pissed off is what makes the life worth living.

I really appreciate your postings here, actually. The fact that so many people that are normally on the opposite end of the political spectrum from me also find your views completely ridiculous really strengthens my faith in the other side. It's like every batch of comments from them is proof that while we may disagree, at least I know they're not completely batshit insane removed from reality.

Both extremes are wrong. Like they always were.
I prefer your Forgiveness series even if its utopic, or some like Joe Doe that are better made and thoughtful in general.
