I agree.

"Support the troops" has become something of a meaningless phrase. I wish everyone who had one of those ribbons had donated money to the USO.

I actually asked a question regarding those ribbons a few weeks ago. I asked if those ribbons actually went to benefit the causes they were supposed to represent. Of course, we know that most of them do not.

And yes, slapping a yellow ribbon on an SUV during this time does make people look like giant pricks. Well said.
