Kansas' Tax Cut Disaster

"The largest tax cuts went to those at the top, and Kansas actually raised taxes on the lowest-income families. Nothing in the Kansas economy’s subpar performance since these tax cuts were enacted suggests the benefits have “trickled down” to ordinary Kansans."

Date: 2014-06-23 04:24 pm (UTC)There's a vast sea of difference between that and disasters like Kansas. What's unfortunate in all this is that you're dreaming red in a blue state. I mean if you were in Kansas, and could report from the inside, that would be interesting. Especially with your wife being a public school teacher. I'd be fascinated to hear what it's like trying to work in fully gutted-out education system.

She wasn't a public school teacher, but reporting from the inside wouldn't tell us much, anyway.
