I don't doubt you work hard. I'm just curious and not saying this a solution, if health insurance so important for you, why don't you work for a corporation?
Here is an interesting fact - I always had an health insurance even when I didn't work, I was buying it and it was absolutely affordable. Now, when I have a pretty descent job, but couldn't afford it on my own. But let try to figure out what happen in between.

It's natural, but that doesn't mean good. Everyone has bias but we also have the possibility to be aware of our bias, to compensate for them and attempt to lessen their impact. We certainly shouldn't give our bias free reign.

Given awareness that the hostile media effect is such a widespread phenomenom, I think it's sensible to be suspicious of our own (or any other individual's) ability to judge media bias except in the most overt and obvious cases.

I don't watch American news and I rather get the feeling that a lot / most American news is sensationalist and often partisan, so I do think that political bias is a problem in American news and sometimes it may be obvious; would anyone deny that Fox News is biased towards the right wing? However, when you want to claim that American news -in general- has a political bias... well, I'd advise caution.

No, I said I'd lived with it for over 40 years. I'm 56 years old and I've been politically aware since Nixon was elected in 1968. My late father was victimized by the right wing during the McCarthy years, which goes back 60 years, so I'm aware that the polarization has been around for some time.

As long as we are a two-party country, there are only two camps, and as a woman I know which one is on my side. Sorry, but everyone I know who doesn't recognize the difference between them doesn't vote at all, which is hardly productive.

I have 30 years of experience handling group health care insurance. So yeah, I pretty much am an expert. You want to know about ACA, credible coverage, COBRA, health care exchanges, group health care exchanges, the actuarial work that goes into the construction of group policies, price modeling of insurance offerings for small, medium and large international companies - I've done all of this and more.

On the other hand, I'd like to see a single citation other than Fox News supporting your many ignorant statements.

Actually FNC has Geraldo, Williams, Colmes, Beckel that are liberals. On the contrary, as far as I remember, there are no conservatives on any other network. Beck was on CNN a few years backs.
