Misogyny is alive and well, clearly.

And people call me paranoid that I get scared of being murdered for my Intersex/Trans status. I rank way lower on the gender hierarchy than a woman! And the fact is, I am way more statistically likely to be murdered than cis-gendered people. Brandon Teena got shot in the face.

Oh man I shouldn't have looked at the spreadsheets. It lays it out so clearly. Have you noticed the murder rate against Trans is going up? 1970-75 saw 12 Trans folk murdered, then it jumps up to 62 in 2012 alone. (No data on 2013 or 2014 but I really want it).

Even I try to be open...but I gets scared for my safeties...you just can't tell with some people. I've been in some hairy situations as it is. Someone once raped me in that "you're a freak and this will correct you" kind of way. Once I got cornered by some hombres in a train station men's bathroom in Cali. Luckily a security guard came by and my skinny self ran off.

Bathrooms are the worst thing, the bane of my existence.
