1.) Obama closing factories: The law for the EPA to close the lead smelter originated under "W". But that's a different issue. Economic policies, like bailing out Detroit?
2.) IRS audits. The tea party wasn't singled out.
3.) Good lordie. Mom's in the fridge dude = ACA.
4.) CNN plane alien coverage "rather than Benghazi", okay.
5.) "ignore the benghazi hearings", its the same joke twice!
6.) VA hospital wait times, which pres is in charge. Okay, cute. Which president started war of choice ensuring the queues would be long?
7.) "Regulate and suppress conservatives", yeah, they're so oppressed. Why that hippie John McLaughlin!
8.) Democratic states more likely to want to move. To where?
There's no need to rebut this stuff here, dude. It's film day: just kickback and relax and giggle in a kind of reverse-joke kind of way, while at the same time getting grounded for the way that the Right sees the news.
The VA hospital case, for instance, plays well into the long-time meme about government inefficiency - like the post office and the department of motor vehicles, yuk yuk yuk - at a time when Obamacare is still in an early-growing period with the public.
We do need to be mocked from time to time My favorite headline this week was "anarchist conference descends into chaos." When you can't laugh at yourself anymore, you're in trouble.
8.) Democratic states more likely to want to move. To where?
Yeah, that is a really strange factoid to use as a jab at people. "Ha ha, look at the people that I disagree with! They are interested in relocating rather than staying in the same place forever and ever! That's just like them, AMIRITE?"
