Yeah, if oil is a result of the decomposition of organic matter, then how the fuck did it end up on Titan? If it's the result of some other process on Titan, why not also on Earth?
Coal comes directly from organic matter but most of what I've read about oil in the last decade suggests it comes from other processes, meaning the supply isn't finite but renewing.
