There are no "good guys" at Fox. Working for Fox inherently means signing off on Fox's methods and goals.

But Shepard Smith was one of the few Fox people to seem conflicted about it, and to, once in a while, express mild disagreement with the network's spin even if he didn't disagree with the larger message.

That is hilarious. It had been years since I heard
anything about or from Shep. I wasn't sure if he
was even still on the air. When I did watch back
then he seemed reasonably sharp. Either this
was wicked editing. or the rich lifestyle has perhaps
