Isn't that first pic pretty much how all religious teachings work? Otherwise, there wouldn't be a dozen flavors of Protestant and two flavors of Catholic, Shi'a and Sunni, some Buddhists who believe in an afterlife and others who don't, Hasidic Jews versus Reconstructionist Jews, etc etc...
