"Just buy your gifts, not their lies"
Dec. 1st, 2013 09:00 amThe former head lobbyist for Wal Mart has launched a website called Worker Center Watch which aims to discredit and defame anyone who dares question the mighty power of giant corporations. They released this hilarious video to convince people that anyone who dares question the low-wages, high-profits method of squeezing blue-collar workers for every penny they are worth is a lazy, clueless asshole secretly working for that evil, looming specter of unions. Their slogan is (no joke) "Just buy your gifts, not their lies". Be a good consumer. Obey.

Date: 2013-12-01 08:34 pm (UTC)You did forget to mention a tiny, almost insignificant, fact though... It turns out Worker Center Watch is lead by a former Walmart exec and
was created by Parquet Public Affairs which handles crisis management for huge corporations.
"Crises like a massive protest against a company for their rampant bribery, unfair work practices, and use of slave labor," you might be asking yourself... Well yes, Mr/Ms Smartypants, crises exactly like those.
That makes Worker Center Watch professional protesters too. The difference being that the protesters they depict actually get up off their butts, protesting with signs and facts in the face of the store they want shut down. Whereas Worker Center Watch manipulate people with propaganda from the shadows because they are actually an arm of the company Walmart pays to protest for them."
