I'm sure I'd feel terrible, and I'd probably wish we had stayed out of the fucking Middle East, but I don't think I can see a dark conspiracy theory. You tell Yes Peace that you don't know what happened, but what do you think possibly could be the dark story here? We cannot even see the angle.

Well, if there was, then that would be evidence that Bush was covering it up. If he did not receive a warning or information, then he would not have known, and therefore was not covering up. It's really that simple.

Without solid proof, absolutely. Occam's Razor dictates dismissing that until real evidence is laid down.
Until that point, they could have been sold out by the alien lizardmen or Nazis from underground bases.
