There was a photo op that 5 dems did; they spent a single night in public housing in manhattan; so they could, ya know, feel the plight of the plebs in the public housing projects of NYC

They could each bring one person. It was telling, about them, IMO, who they brought.

DeBlasio- his 18 y/o daughter
Lui- aide from the comptrollers office
Quinn- spokeswoman from her campaign
Thompson- union leader
Weiner- he came alone.

He wanted all the attention for himself (or he couldn't find anyone to go with him. either or)
