Bah, I don't really get the font-nazis. People always hate on comic sans too. I say live and let live!

Yeah, I get the comic sans hate... but the Papyrus hate just seems like haterade.

The Comic Sans hate is just because it's bad, the Papyrus hate is because it's waaaaay overused.

It's kind of the opposite really. Comic sans isn't terrible but it's WAY misused. People hate it because it normally shows up in places where there's utterly no reason for it. Funeral invitations, office memos, etc. And yes, overused too.

Papyrus is not a very well made font, it has weird spacing, and is also WAY overused. Anybody who wants to get that "earthy" feel. There's other fonts! Write it yourself!

On the other hand, Papyrus isn't nearly as bad as Viner Hand. Or Ravi. Or Matura, come to that.
