Pushing a toddler in a stroller, a rightfully irritated self-identified Native American began yelling at the group, saying: “Y’all f*cking illegal. You’re all illegal. You’re all illegal! We didn’t invite none of you here!” Some of the audio may not be work safe, so be warned.

Do you own a house or a condo?

No. I haven't met any immigrants who tried to take my apartment either. Most of the ones I know work there asses to the bone and send what little money they make back to their families in Mexico.

Many of them do work their asses off; I agree. Mexico has what is probably the most unequal economy in the OECD, more unequal than the US and the UK, and poor Mexicans illegally in the States who send money to their families allow the country's elites not to share their wealth with the poor. This is of course a very crude caricature; there is a blogger in Russophone LJ who is a professor of economics at a private university in Mexico City; what he posts about the economy of Mexico (in Russian) is fascinating.

Some recent immigrants do rape and kill. There is a lot of material on the Internet on the MS-13, the Sureños and other immigrant gangs.
