Not the Republicans that's for sure. They support all that stuff and started most of it. War machine? Who invaded Iraq again? Who caused the massive debt and economy mess? Right...not Obama. He's trying to clean up that mess. And as anyone who's ever had kids or pets knows it takes a moment to destroy it all and ages to clean it up.
Yup, invading Libya without congressional approval? Bombing missions in Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, etc? Ramping up the war in Afghanistan and keeping Guantanamo open and troops in Iraq? All Bush cleanup. I feel ya.

You have 60 days to notify Congress, a Senate resolution was introduced within two days of that deadline (Congress was so concerned about this, they went on a week long vacation!). Previous attempts to limit the President's war making abilities by Congress have been ruled unconstitutional (e.g. Tenure of Office Act (1867) was held until 1926 (Congress overstepped its constitutional authority). It's not really how clear the WPA of 1973 is constitutional. Bombing missions would fall under the limited involvement of the President's constitutional role as commander-in-chief, and there are plenty of previous examples in the history of the Republic where that's happened. You can blame Congress for the failure to close Guantanamo.
Now you see, this is the wrong sort of thing to bring up with me, because I wouldn't care about that no matter who was doing it - Obama, Bush, Romney, Clinton, whoever. You're bombing some place in Yemen? Sending troops to Afghan? Whatever you need to do for national security. I don't care if we go up to Canada and slap around their Prime Minister a bit. That's a Foreign Country and I have an official Not My Problem label for that.
Now, if you do want me to care about all that, make me the Permanent Secretary of Dealing With All Foreign Shit. We'll talk.
Why are people somewhere else less important than people who live within a certain arbitrary geographical delineation? Shit, I live closer to those in Montreal than Dallas, so why are those further from me more important than those closer?
Why are people somewhere else less important than people who live within a certain arbitrary geographical delineation?
Because I have only so many fucks to give about mass populations that I personally don't know about and so I favor my fellow citizenry since they're the ones I have to share the nation with.

I don't know; why are they? That's your business, dude.
P1) I have only so many fucks to give about mass populations that I personally don't know about C1) so I favor my fellow citizenry since they're the ones I have to share the nation with.
Nope, I just don't like your continual off-hand commands about what I should and should not do. Whenever you say things like "Be more cosmopolitan.", it's like you're waiting for a response from me of "Yes, Master, and how would you like me to blow you today?" You are the epitome of smug condescension.
Which of these things would McCain or Romney not do? Sure there's ground to criticize Obama--lots of it! But in a realistic world, whatcha gonna do?
Leaving the country is like leaving a troubled kid. Fucked up. Do your duty and fight from within to improve. Voting third party is an option--I recommend that to those in so called "safe" states. Voting Romney isn't an option, he'll do those things and more. Voting third part in swing states is too risky. But that's less than 10 states.

I'm not sure you have a real firm grasp of, well, facts.

Keep on trucking though, this is fun!

Is the spoon theory of the disabled also stupid?
