As if Donald Trump actually HAD real money. He's been bankrupt 4 times and frankly has a low credit rating and almost negative personal assets. (But he's still an excellent salesman.)
When he first ran, he outspent all the people who beat him by a huge margin. I'm just saying there is a long list of candidates who have tried to buy their way into office and failed. You have to have money, yes, but you also have to have a platform that appeals to voters, a track record, and be effective at describing both.
