There was a joke somewhere about how batman should have got a cellphone.
I think it would make a good commercial if a company could get the rights. Clear day, Gordon runs to the roof, epic music, turns on the machine, looks up and... no symbol because its a clear night. Gordon shrugs, pulls out his cell phone, looks up "Batman" and calls him.
