Even "several" scientists isn't enough when Gore is speaking for the overwhelming majority of them.

Yes, and he doesn't need any for reasons which I have also stated. I don't need scientific credentials of my own to state an accepted scientific fact, but you do need scientific credentials of your own to contest it (or at least a significant body of dissenting scientific opinion, which Gore's critics lack.)
