1) Obama "amnesia" (which is completely imagined since he's already addressed this non-issue on multiple occasions) BAD BAD VERY VERY BAD IMPEACH NOW; Reagan-BushDaddy-Dubya amnesia (which is as real as the nose past which you are reading these words; "I don't remember, I wasn't in that meeting, that's classified" OH FUCKING PLEASE), well that amnesia is perfectly fine, no worries a'tall.

2) ACORN "corruption" (an utter nonissue; the only charges that have been filed anywhere were because ACORN ITSELF turned in some people it hired who were committing fraud) BAD BAD VERY VERY BAD IMPEACH ALL DEMOCRATS NOW; Republican corruption (you're joking right? The entire Bush administration was corrupt. Just fuck it, it was all on the take from the get-go), well that corruption is perfectly, perfectly fine.

I'm just tired of hearing about Acorn. Outside those glued to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, I don't think most people give a shit.

I have much larger bones to pick with the Obama Administration and the Democrats.

Hey, home come you haven't posted about THIS? (http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_ACORN_HIDDEN_CAMERA?SITE=FLSTU&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT) Hmmm.

Another interesting sidenote... The anti-ACORN bill in Congress was written so broadly that (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/22/whoops-anti-acorn-bill-ro_n_294949.html), if passed, it would essentially outlaw military contractors and a large chunk of the military-industrial-complex in general. So, of course, lawmakers are scrambling to re-think all of this and change the bill. So, let's review... be caught robbing taxpayers and murdering people like groups like Blackwater (and others) did... that's fine to the GOP. Patriotic, in fact. Commit the crime of helping poor (black) people stay in their homes and find jobs and register to vote. They will take you down ASAP.

Since everyone seems scared of the name now, I'll just state that Acorn has done WAY more good than harm in this world, and I'd be proud to be associated with the organization. It's a shame there are bad individuals within the organization (just like EVERY organization), and we should always be vigilant and not get to relaxed about it, but that doesn't change the fact that the organization as a whole has provided legitimate and timely help to a very large number of people who needed it.
