...It's kind of entertaining to see members of Congress-- the majority of whom helped enable President Bush's illegal wiretapping program and other civil liberty abuses-- now suddenly concerned when it affects one of their own. But hey, if this revelation (and the release of the torture memos, etc etc) helps force Obama and company to really put an end to Bush policies (and not just cleaning around the edges), then it's all good.

(A classic cartoon worth reprinting... particularly for those here who seem to have developed amnesia about the 8-year mess we just came away from... ie. someone who writes a deserved criticism of the scam that is TARP without acknowledging the President who created it.)
