Well, according to Susan Crawford, some folk who have been tortured in Gitmo (Mohammed al-Qahtani springs to mind) are too dangerous to let go free, but because of their torture, are impossible to prosecute.
I suppose the current administration should have asked 'someone' to put these guys next to Jimmy Hoffa. Disappearances used to be much easier. Evidently they ordered things better in the seventies.
I don't disagree. I've got no idea what he's going to do with them. A permanent ankle bracelet that is senstive to all materials one shouldn't be in contact with?
Susan Crawford does not get to make the danger call. She is not Buddha, impartial in ultimate all-knowing Enlightenment. If the "detention" was messed up, you have to release regardless of your own bias, misinformation, and flawed instincts. Rights of the individual come first.
