I may be wrong, but I think it looks like Barrack and Michelle dressed up in Muslim garb (I think it was the cover of the New Yorker a few months back). And, since it's Ramirez, I wouldn't be surprised.
Damn! Trumped by lafinjack *again.* (I tried to post this same comment, minus factual wikipedia link, some half a day later.) Don't mind me, I'll just be irrelevant on some other community.
Comics are an excellent way to say baised truth with enough kick to make the subject flinch. Or used to be, now people get paid to act like bitches with words. :)
wow! You finally got something RIGHT! All the economy needs is MORE SPENDING! About a trillion dollars worth. And the government is the spender of last resort, and boy, howdy, are we on our last resort.
Finally. A cartoon that tells the truth. I didn't think you had it in you, cheer-girl.
The problem is that the tax payers have to pay for it. Obama wants to create more jobs? Im fine with that as long as he cuts earmarks and wastefull spending.
He's said he wants his stimulus package to be earmark free. In terms of spending, the way I look at it is like this: Bush spending: McDonald's. Obama spending: Fresh, organic home cooked meal.
Same dollars, better quality. Some may quibble about the cost and benefit of the organic part, but it's still a much much better option than McDonalds.
