a) Eric Holder, not Jamie Gorelick, is Obama's pick for AG.
b) There had been an "intelligence wall" since the very early '80s under Reagan. Jamie Gorelick's contribution was a single memo. That would be like accusing someone who dumped one bucket of used motor oil into a lake for all of the world's pollution problems. A convenient scapegoat, but hardly a deserving one.
c) She left Fannie Mae in 2003, 5 years before the catastrophic collapse. There is no evidence that she had anything to do with the decisions that led to its failure. That contention is based entirely upon the fact that she once was a Vice Chair there. That's it.
Therefore, the cartoon is inaccurate. And it's inaccuracy lends to its stupidity.
