This douchebag needs to get his hands cut off. That way, he can't draw anymore of his vile, anti-Semetic, anti-American, terrorist-loving cartoons ever again.

you know, without trying to weight in totaly on the issue of anti semticem, bering in mind israil is a state, and israil =/= jews, a large nubmer of the points are true. palastian kids are killed by israil solders, for whatever reson. the israils use alot of force agist reltivle small and hard to hit target. prahaps disprotnetle so.

in the uk, both sides get reproted evenly, or so it seems, no idea what its like in the us, so i cant comment on the main theam (say something bad about israil is gona be classed as anti semtic)

corse, i may have missed the point, and that could just be sarcasm reinforceing the point...

Despite the numerous spelling mistakes, I got your point. Whatever valid points are in the cartoon are completely overshadowed by his bigotry.

I wasn't going to comment on how you spelled 'anti-semitic' wrong, even though it's been spelled just about seven times for you in the cartoon, but you decided to go and throw stones. So here it is.

Whatever valid points are in your response are completely overshadowed by your bigotry.

- First, by ignoring Latuff's valid points in the face of his admittedly atrocious bias, you are committing the ad hominem logical fallacy.
- Second, by saying that his cartoons are undeserving because they are "anti-American" legitimizes the claim that cartoons that are anti-ANYTHING should be yanked. Say, for example, the Danish Muhammad cartoons. If you want free speech, you get everything that comes with it, honey. After all, if America's as great as everyone thinks it is, it should hold up pretty well against criticism--especially the Sunday Funnies kind.
- Third, by saying his cartoons are anti-semitic, you are actually proving his point. Our friend Carlos wasn't serious when he said that calling a tank a tank was "anti-semitic." The point of the cartoon (which you seemed to have missed, if you even bothered to look for it at all) was that certain people over-zealously apply "anti-semitic" to legitimate criticisms of the Israeli state. You're providing a textbook example of this by saying, "Whatever valid points are in the cartoon are completely overshadowed by his bigotry."

This is meant to help you not make any more 'amusing' responses. I don't like it, and i sure don't think you like it, either.

Post Script: For god's sake, don't ever advocate cutting off hands as a solution to anything. Same goes for feet. I don't know if you're aware of this, but you're mirroring a particularly draconian punishment for theft condoned by Fundamentalist interpretations of sharia (Islamic law).

I noticed my mistakes, but I was hoping no one else noticed! Anyway, I see that my attempt at humor failed massively, and I will try to look at things more objectively in the future.

I'd say this is a distorted and corrupted version of the truth, of what people say and are taught to say, and it is...

But it's far less corrupted and distorted than I'd like it to be.

And that's quite sad.

...and he may be an anti-semite...but he does have a point or two on occasion. He definately tries to put your nose in it - truth or fiction. For as many times as I've flamed the guy, he still has his viewpoints - and i have mine.

He does have valid under-pinnings to his points. ...at least per/in the US news bulletins. I'd have to agree that the BBC news is 1000 times better than the news hre in the US of A -- well, except for all the Cricket scores! Boring! :p;p

I'm offended by the fact that the soldier seems to have like huge zits on his face.
I looked much better when I was stationed in Gaza, committing ~genocide~ and stuff.

Alas, the cartoon in question appears to have been censored. All I get is a little box with an 'x'.
So whatever opinion I have, I shall reserve until I see it.
But I'm glad about some things.
Young Madame [livejournal.com profile] bluetooth16 confirms me in my opinion that the US right-wing are just as insane and fascist as the Taliban: and worse than the Taliban, some of them are in the White House, running America, and trying to go to war with Iran. Mind you, some of them are just using the right-wing as a front for their criminality....

And now I've seen the cartoon, what is Young Madame [livejournal.com profile] bluetooth16 going on about? Apart from, that is to confirm the premise behind the cartoon.
Is it really true that for some folk any criticism of Israel is necessarily bad?

Wow. I find myself nearly agreeing with a Latuff comic. And here I thought I'd never live that long.

Always get a kick out of bluetooth's take on things. Or I would, if there weren't so many dickheads who agreed. You know what? You should have hands cut off. For being stupid.

Sorry, America. I'm not in Israel's corner on this one. I'm not in Palestine's corner, either, but how, aside from baseless, flack-suckling jackassery can anyone really get behind Israel in this fucking mess?

Unfortunately, given the choice between a UN-supported government that is legitimate in the legal sense (though probably not in the "real" sense) and a bunch of people who train their children tobe suicide bombers, the US ends up having to side with the UN.

To be fair, both sides in this conflict are freaking looney.
