plus, we're going to value our own people over another country's, regardless of politics. people care more about their own family's tragedies than other people's. it's a fact of life that people spend more energy on those close to them. if every death in the world made us grieve, we'd never get anywhere.
Oh, I don't condemn people for placing more value on their 'own', that would be dumb, I just was a little confused as to why Iraqi students were being referred to as the 'enemy.'
i think people just mix together the unknown, and i didn't mean to imply that you condemned people. i just keep seeing people getting mad about people caring about VT. ugh, the whole thing is a mess. ):
Afraid not, I don't talk to Americans that often. I figured most would have the common sense to recognize the difference between civilians and enemy combatants, but I'm an optimist.
