The "racist" allegations against Sanger are kept up by anti-choice radicals in order to try to drive a wedge between Planned Parenthood and people of color. I went back and I read "The Pivot of Civilization" and you are right, she did promote against the "Feeble Minded" from reproducing, as did many other members of the clergy and the goverment as a whole back then. What she didn't do is say "We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population." I did not find that quote attributed to her. Prehaps you could point it out.

Were her ideas flawed? Of course they were. So were the ideas of many people throughout history from Freud to Regan. It's only in retrospect that we are able to look back and see the ideas for both the good and the bad they represent.
