This would be more accurate if it better portrayed how the terrorists are violating every rule set forth to qualify for Geneva convention protections, yet they were recieving them anyway...but still, good cartoon.
I'M OFFENDED!!! If that pesky little Geneva Conventions book lands on Muhammed bim Sim sal-Albim's head, that could hurt him. Especiallyl if it landed on the edge. TORTURE!!! HUMILITATION!!!
btw, why is he wearing a cheese grater on his face?
Brutally speaking, we lose the ability to force information out of them, then shoot them and dump them into a hole when we're done.
Is it moral to do that? If it means learning about a nuclear bomb being set off in NYC and dead prisoners versus some better treated prisoners and a nuked NYC...
You tell me. In the end, war is not a moral, nor a good, nor a kind thing; it's organized violence by a government in the name of politics, or religion, or greed. The only question is if it is needed.
As a follow up, I'm not in the military. Its not that I don't think America is worth protecting- it is. It's because I fear for whatever soul I have if I do join.
should the soldier on the right have an Israeli flag? I mean with the wall it would be approprite - I think the geneva date would be differnt for Israel through well 1949 year but 1948 was establishment and then much much later was the convention with arafat etc
