So, Russia invades a democratically-elected country and orchestrates a civil war. NATO responds by beefing up the borders of Russia to point out that such actions have consequences, and the Russian press spins this as the aggression of the Western powers against poor, autocratic, Russia.

Who is the provocateur? Putin. Period.

the puppets of ukraine who are wanting to cash in on the european union ponzi scheme under the world banks, the industrial and military regions aligned with russia like donbask and crimea, which was granted to ukraine to govern, but having second thoughts because of language problems between russian-ukraine populations, like canada's french separatists and english, (but now are being outnumbered by chinese, indian and asians), the pressure from europe for accessing gas and oil from russia, american oil corporatism wanting a piece of the pie, the struggle for oil access in the middle east, zionists, oligarchs, capitalists, usa, nato, russia, cia interference to destabilize russia, towards which the un and nato seem useless and have no jurisdiction. it's not their business. they are wanting to protect borders never settled after wwii such as poland.

putin stated that he would only retaliate against ukraine military if they moved against russian interests in specific areas. he stated he is wanting to have peace, not conflict. ukraine is russia's afghanistan. when does world trade and doing business become war?

it's as stupid as the war in iraq.

i think a good thing would be to ask putin who the provocateur is, and he has openly told american journalists that it is america, the great again.

What happened in Crimea and the Ukraine was war. It IS as stupid as the Iraq War. The US fucked the pooch there. But there was a process in place to fix the Ukraine if the citizens really didn't like it...through elections and the government. Instead, Putin chose to invade. Make no mistake, the current civil war in the Ukraine is an invasion by Russian troops, backed with Russian money and material.

i know, it's another bloody mess, like syria, lebanon, serbia, lybia, it's what happens when super powers try to "modernize" the third world followed by weapons of mass destruction. it's the human way.. to control itself?

the elites always prophet from selling arms to both sides and moving in for the spoils, that's the industrial military complex. it is a third party using each opponent for its own gain.

my grandparents left ukraine under stalin to avoid persecution. they were farmers. they didn't care about politics. they just wanted a peaceful life. they survived cold winters homesteading on the canadian prairie to avoid genocide. they don't have any reason other than to want life, over death. i am grateful to them for braving change and leaving those politics behind. russians were almost toppled by germany at the time and came back from similar conditions of starvation and cold to help win the second world war in ally with america and britain. nothing is simple. and things are always changing. i don't think putin is the problem.
