I love how she "clarified" what she was talking about (https://twitter.com/KellyannePolls/status/827505588808667136) by linking to an article from the very media that she claimed never mentioned what happened.
Well, at least that doesn't sound so bad, though I cannot help wondering if they just looked up something to save her comments and were fortunate to happen upon this. It is a little old.
I think that's what happened. She had a fragment of a memory relating to Iraqis, terrorism, and Bowling Green, made up details on the spot to get her through the moment, then later looked up what it really was to issue the "I misspoke/meant to say/was taken out of context" statement that's the hallmark of yellow-bellied weasels that moonlight as talking heads.
Edit: My apologies to actual weasels for the unfair stereotype.
There is now a "Bowling Green Massacre Victims Fund" website and it redirects to the ACLU donation page https://t.co/lRq8Uamu3l (https://t.co/lRq8Uamu3l) pic.twitter.com/Ytpa1iYCuM (https://t.co/Ytpa1iYCuM)

Maybe I am searching google wrong, but no KY rep in congress or the senate spoke out against a blatant lie, but did Rand Paul actually perpetuate it? Yes, yes he did.
