i think it's from his sutras poetry (rare).. i can't remember where i heard it, but it stuck. which is sort of like a self-fulfilling prophecy... if you think about it - stuff happens and some of us know it... the web is not what it used to be. i think it was from a book of buddhist poems or sutras. can't find shit on the web anymore. i can't find any poetry books listed by kerouac, i would have to dig it out of a box in storage to get the exact title. it is useless to think in absolute terms anymore, the world is transient, what's past is past, and the present is forever new.. it's weird how mainstream the internet has become. it's bloody pathetic really. i don't know how enlightened creatures can stand it. nothing eclectic is referenced anymore. any links that exist list the same handful of lame quotes put up by some robot search engine as redirects to some sales schtick. or simply vanish..
