I'm lazy as shit and I don't have to take anything. I have the utmost sympathy for people who are not in that boat.

I am so glad I let my Lipitor, prescribed because healthy diet and exercise is too much for me, to expire. I don't have to buy Xanax and the rest!

factually, its very misleading anyway: Welbutrin for CFS is off-label and has had limited success in people with CFS - doctors think the real reason is that CFS is comorbid with depression. If taking xanax caused insomnia, your doctor would most likely take you off of it. Hardly anyone gets Ambien anymore because of the sleep-walking problem. And if Ambien gave you high blood pressure, your doctor would take you off of it right away. and Hydochlorothiazide does not cause diabetes. Many patients with diabetes take Hydrochlorothiazide as well to control their blood pressure because actually diabetes can often influence blood pressure adversely.

Thank you for this, SOOO hard. It just underlines that the chiropractor's office that whipped this up doesn't know much about what they're talking about.

(Footnote, I use and love my chiro, but he's not the only fish in the sea)

I know what you mean--my chiro is a miracle worker, as far as my back is concerned, but that doesn't mean I'm going to write off mainstream medicine for my allergies, depression, etc. Chiropractic is great for the things it is good for, but it's not the be-all and the end-all, and I don't care for chiropractors who act like it is, because that mindset makes me uncomfortable.

Indeed. When they start claiming that my spine is affecting my sinuses, they sound like they're peddling chakras, and I'd like some real medicine at that point.

Thank you. I take a shit-ton of meds and I hate doing it. But I'm alive.

45 years of excellent diet and lots of exercise did not keep the lupus at bay.

Also "chiropractic care" is an oxymoron and "superior nutritional supplements" in this context pretty obviously means "water pills and 10,000% pill-shaped carrots".

I wonder why they're not promoting "superior nutrition" if they hate pills so damned much.

Chronic Fatigue is a syndrome, not a disease; i.e. it's a group of symptoms. It's most likely caused by many, many different things from brain chemistry, diet, genetics, gut fauna or many other things. If a doctor treats you for chronic fatigue then they're as big a quack as that guy who prescribes antibiotics for viral infections (in other words, they have no idea what's wrong but here's a prescription now shut up and go away).

"Superior nutritional supplements" sounds kinda suspicious to me. I understand and support vitamin and microelement pills which say plain and simple what's inside, but "superior nutritional supplements" - sounds too much like patented snake-tonic. Too many scams in this trade to take it serious IMO.

Unfortunately, you have no guarantee that supplements have what they say they have. The industry fought regulation tooth and claw, and unfortunately, they won.
