I shouldn't need to. But to beat my head against the wall act in good faith:

You used an anecdote as if it proved some grand rule.
A serious and substantial study examines MANY examples, not just one.

The studies done show that money is a HUGE factor. Not the only one, but a really, really big one.

The studies don't actually show anything of the sort. It shows a correlation, yes, but a far cry from any sort of causation.

More to the point, however, is that even if it were true, the result of limiting that money would cause more significant problems.
