I would hope what comes of this is the 1st Amendment finally being put to use against Mr. Jones., this is exactly the type of shit the 1st Amendment does NOT cover. But my hopes are low, given that the Constitution has been used more for shielding mentally ill idiots like himself lately than for it's intended purpose and who cares about Constitutionally Correctness when you have money lining your pockets.

Nah, I'm all for them taking a stand and fighting for something they believe in. This is a property rights issue that needs to be resolved in the courts. So, weeding out nutters like that guy is in their best interests. Plus, it shows they're indeed interested in maintaining the rule of law. So, don't let all the politics suade your pov. This is a complex property rights dispute.

The courts already resolved it - Bundy has failed to comply with their rulings and continues to graze cattle on land he doesn't own without paying.

So a bunch of armed yahoos of varying degrees of sovereign citizen libertarian patriot sorts showed up with weapons. The BLM has backed off but Bundy is still in the wrong. Seizure of assets should follow.
