I would just like every father and mother condemning this to ask themselves if they'd feel the same way if it were their son or daughter...I'm sure they'd gladly trade 100 suspects in exchange.

Also, I didn't realize that you had to be good looking to receive sympathy/empathy or favorable judgement. I don't know why I'm still shocked by the vileness that comes out of these people

Nobody is talking about his parents - good for them for getting their son back. The fact that his father's looks were discussed, was to make point that he might been a muslim sympathizers.

The point I was trying to make is that if it were some of these reporter's son, I'm sure they wouldn't care who was traded in place.
