Y'know, your silly constitutional absolutism may happen to align with the Court every now and then, but on this issue you're so out of sync that you risk advertising your incompetence. The Roberts Court is never going to extend the full protections of the Second Amendment to the mentally ill, as Scalia made exceedingly clear even when he was writing on a blank slate what promises to be the seminal case establishing the scope of the Second Amendment.

I think gun and abortion restrictions should be forced to be equal. Restrict number of providers? Same for guns. Waiting periods? same for guns.
