Paul Rose, Marine Expert, Says Ocean Litter Is Being Ingested By Humans (http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/09/09/paul-rose-marine-expert-oceans-plastic_n_3893520.html)
That's some scary shit. I've been seeing that reported over in FB land a lot. Those "Life After Humans" have mentioned most plastics as currently formulated will never truly break down. As for some food and drink items: I prefer glass containers. Soda and juices seem much colder in glass than plastic. And milk DEFINITELY tastes better and is colder when sold in glass containers (a local market here offers it that way).
I'm hip now though, I don't even use plastic baggies anymore. Just glass containers.
We're fucking the planet, but I prefer the drunks using those new plastic booze bottles cause I can clean those up and they dont cut my doggies paws like the glass one. But I guess I don't want my grandkid to have to eat it, nor other species. Sheesh.
I wouldn't be surprised if both the Internet and famine can live beside each other. It may be cheaper to set up a few towers than it is to feed the peoples.
